The planning board functions in an advisory role, except when a local law is passed granting them authority to approve site plans, sub division plans, special permits or other developmental approvals. The Village of Bloomfield Planning Board has been granted this authority. This is a 5 member board plus alternate, all appointed by the Mayor.

Public Hearing
A public hearing will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday July 11,2024 at the Town Hall located at 99 Main Street, Bloomfield, New York. This hearing will be conducted by the Planning Board for the Village of Bloomfield.
Special Use Permit, VSPl-24 Owner Nancy DiPerna Angelo, Section 135-85 Barber shops and Beauty shops. Property located at IO Maple Ave. TaxMap#68.17-1-3.111. To operate a Beauty Shop out of home.
Anyone interested in this hearing is welcome to attend and express their opinions at that time.
